It's official!!

We have started our search again for four lucky individuals to take part in the 2nd Annual Biggest MOOser Transformation Contest.

Those 4 lucky finalists will go through a dramatic transformation of 12 weeks where they will change their lives forever. They will experience what it takes to shed the fat they have lived their entire lives with. They will unlock the secrets to keeping the weight off and learn a whole new way of life by gaining the tools to eat supportively and exercise effectively for a lifetime.

Final Measurement Day

Today was the day.

The last day of the Biggest Mooser. We went to the radio station and got measurements taken and had the winner announced.

It was very exciting but very sad at the same time, like I said on the radio, kind of like high school graduation, you aren't sure why you are sad, but you are. You are still going to see the same faces, and will still cherish the time together, but perhaps its a little different now.

The Moosers won't be working out together anymore, but they will be coming to bootcamp in the class times that they can fit into their schedules. Lisa is going to help me with the Metabolism Makeover by coming in and telling her story of her success and helping others who have questions or felt stuck.

Erica will be helping me teach bootcamp classes. She has a knack for it and I can see her really taking the reins with this venture.

Christine will be preparing for her new addition to her family, and will be counting down the days until she can get back at it with workouts and nutrition

Tonia will get to workout again with her original workout partner Gabby, which makes Gabby very happy:). Tonia is a new person and will become an advocate for paying attention to your nutrition.

Missy will continue on her venture in bootcamp as she pushes forward to her wedding at the end of the summer. She is determined to succeed, and will with that attitude.

They were all successful, but perhaps I was the most successful. I had the honor of working with these five day in day out for 16 weeks. Six days a week for 16 weeks is a long time and plenty to get to know someone.

We will get together and plan outings, go out to dinner, rock climbing, hiking, and many others. Maybe there is another road race in the future:)

As we go our perverbial seperate ways, this isn't good bye, but good luck, I know you now have the tools to succeed, and hope you are able to share it with others who are in pain and anguish, just like you were when you started this journey. The only way we can help so many people that are struggling and unhappy is if we share our knowledge and shed some light in the right direction. Whether you like it or not you five are now leaders in this front.

I'm overwhelmingly proud of your accomplishments and more proud of how many people you have touched on this journey.

I promised I would post the totals for all five contestants, here they are:

Total Pounds Lost: 188

Total Percentage of Fat Lost: 40.8%

Total Inches Lost: 52.50 inches

If you are reading this and are struggling without knowing which direction to turn, know that you can turn to one of the MOOsers and to me for help. We will be having another Biggest MOOser contest in January, but don't wait until then, take action now. Little steps first but keep moving forward and build upon those small steps. You can accomplish ANYTHING if you put your mind to it.

Outdoor Cardio Bootcamp

Outdoors again today, but a milestone...last day of 30 seconds work 30 seconds rest!

It's all gonna change next week:)

Three MOOsers had measurements today, and while I can't remember the total inches and body fat down, here are a couple of the highlights:

Lisa has lost 48 pounds in 12 weeks
Christine is down 38 pounds (I think), and several inches off her waist
Missy finally broke through and dropped on the scale AND finally got the right mindset about that wonderful scale.

More tomorrow as Erica and Tonia get their results.

PHA and a Little Fun

MOOsers had a little fun this morning, as it was train the trainer day. Hope to get the video footage from Christine very soon, quite a site for sure:)

As for their workout:

PHA

Jumping Pull ups
Kettlebell High Pull
Push ups
Flutter Kicks

30 seconds per movement no rest in between. Four exercises consist of one round. Complete 8 straight rounds without rest.

Then we did partner sprint and plank- one person sprints while the other planks. We did this for 7 minutes.

Here's todays video:

We have measurements tomorrow and Saturday, hope to update as they come in. Very excited to see the results.

Lets try some new cardio

Well not really.

It was suggested we go outside on this beautiful day by one of the moosers (whose name will remain anonymous) and do some sprints. Well we did some sprints all right:

30 rounds 30 seconds sprint, 30 seconds rest.

It's amazing how these five have grown in 12 weeks. They have changed their lives in so many ways. Their attitude, personality, and of course bodies have changed so much, but there is one thing that has remained the same the whole time: their tenacity and drive to never give up.

They are doing workouts now that your typical 'gym goer' wouldn't have a chance surviving. To say they are fit is an understatement. I don't give a rats ass about the weight, that will come. I'm talking about being fit and healthy. They have lifted themselves from the ashes of former selves but kept all of the parts that made them unique and have shed the parts they didn't like about themselves.

We've got 4 weeks left, but if it ended today, each and every one of them have succeeded way beyond expectations.

I hope those of you following along are inspired because I sure as hell am.
